  • There are times when problems can get too much for us.
  • There are times when we need more than just a shoulder to cry on or kind words from friends and family.
  • There are times when the problems we face are because of our friends or family.

These are some of the times when you may want to consider counselling.

Counselling and Psychotherapy can be suitable for a wide range of problems and issues we face today. I offer Relationship counselling, Anxiety counselling, therapy for Depression, Bereavement counselling and Sex Therapy in the Shepherds Bush area.

There are many misconceptions people may have when deciding whether therapy is either right for them or available to them.

Integrative Therapy

Relationship counselling can cover relationships between friends, family members and people we share professional relationships with. Relationship counselling is not just for couples, and doesn’t need both parties to attend if one party is unwilling or uninterested, or if the other party is simply worried about what their reaction would be and is reluctant to initially admit that they believe they need professional help.

Bereavement Counselling

Bereavement counselling

Bereavement counselling is not just for people who have lost a long term spouse or partner. The loss of friends as well as family members can have a profound effect on us and leave us feeling a gap in our lives that we don’t know if we will ever be able to fill.

Bereavement counselling can help people come to terms with losses such as this, but bereavement counselling can also help when our relationship with the person who died had ceased to be good and questions of ‘what if’ or a sense of regret at what the relationship had become emerge. Bereavement counselling can also help where relationships have broken down and the person is no longer part of the person’s life.

Transpersonal Psychotherapy

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy is, by its nature, related to sexual problems, these may be problems faced by single people, as well as people in relationships. Even where people are in relationships, there may be instances where they are seeking sex therapy on their own perhaps because of the nature of the problem they face. Sex therapy can be undertaken by individuals or couples to help tackle specific sexual dysfunction, including non-consummation, erectile dysfunction (difficulty getting an erection and/or keeping an erection), premature ejaculation, low sexual desire, painful sex or lack of orgasm, and lack of sexual confidence.
